Meet Noni
Definitions
Noni Service
This privacy policy applies to the utilization of personal data in Noni brainstorming and voting app and a web page, collectively hereinafter referred to as Noni.
The people that use Noni can submit data, including personal data to Noni.
Whose data we collect
You can interact with us in several roles:
Guest is an anonymous person who uses Noni app with an access code without login.
Free member is a user that has created login credentials and logs in to the Noni app.
Pro member is a user that has subscribed to Noni paid features, and thus also created login credentials and logs in to the Noni app.
Host is a member (Free or Pro) who has created the brainstorming session.
Visitor can be a website visitor, or a person who interacts with us by some other means.
Data controller and processor
The terms "Data Controller" and "Data Processor" are defined under the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which governs the roles and responsibilities of entities that determine the purposes and means of processing personal data (Controller) and those that process the data on behalf of the Controller (Processor) within the EU.
Noni is the controller of usage metadata such as login data, organization data and system logs. Noni uses this data to maintain and monitor the service and its security, and handle service errors or other technical issues.
Hosts are the controllers of all content submitted by Guests during the brainstorming sessions where they serve as hosts, while Noni acts as the processor of such content.
Data collected
On Noni, we can collect the following personal data depending on your role:
Login details
Upon login to the system, we collect name and e-mail address and information of the organization.
User data
We also collect information such as HTTP-requests(?) and IP-addresses(?), even for Guests?. These are collected for providing the service, and for monitoring and security reasons.
Content submitted
Users submit data related to ideas and voting that can contain personal information. This data can contain names or such data to identify the participants.
Data stored in the system logs
As most websites, also Noni collects automatic log data when it is used or when an error is occurred. The log data may contain personal data such as the date and time of your usage, IP address, used device, operating system or browser used.
Data related to payment
We use Stripe to process payments. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe, and we do not store any of your payment details on our servers. Stripe ensures the security of your data and is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant. For more details on how Stripe handles your information, please review their Privacy Policy.
Cookies
Usage data - Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website saves on the visitor's browser and sends information to the administrator when the visitor returns to the site. We use cookies to analyze the number of visitors to our site and their behavior.
When you visit the site for the first time, we will ask for your consent to use cookies. You may deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies by changing the settings of your web browser. Cookies that are already stored may be deleted at any time.
We process this usage data in Matomo Analytics for statistical purposes, for the provision of our services, marketing and customer communication, and the development of our online services.
Usage data - Cookieless
If you don't accept cookies, we collect only cookieless data with Matomo.
When you visit our site, we store usage data such as the website from which you visited us from, the parts of our site you visit, the date and duration of your visit, your anonymised IP address.

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.
Data deletion and storage periods
For Free members all data generated during brainstorming sessions—including but not limited to ideas, usernames, and votes—will be automatically deleted 6 months after the start of the brainstorming session. This ensures that no personal or session-related data is retained beyond this period.
Pro members who act as hosts have full control over the deletion of brainstorming session data. They may delete any brainstorming data, as well as their account and associated personal information, at any time, through the provided account settings or by contacting support.

We use personal data to

- invoicing and other administrative matters
Receipt, disclosure and checking of data
Data is processed only by those people whose job includes that function. We do not disclose data to 3rd parties, except when it is compulsory for invoicing or for other similar activity. We do not sell data from Noni to any 3rd party.
You have the right to check and rectify your incorrect personal data in our registers. If you wish to check, change, or delete your personal data from our registers, please contact the data controller.
Information for California residents
This privacy policy applies to California residents and is intended to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CPRA”). Any terms defined in the CCPA and CPRA have the same meaning when used in this privacy policy.
Our website responds to “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals or similar mechanisms that provide consumers with the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personal information about an individual consumer's online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services.
In addition to the rights mentioned above, you have also right for Non-Discrimination. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of your CCPA rights, meaning we will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a different quality of service based solely on your exercise of these rights.
